Tri-M Music Honor Society

Tri-M is the only national honor society for student musicians in grades 6-12, sponsored by the National Association for Music Education (NAfME). The organization recognizes students for outstanding academic and musical achievement and provides opportunities for leadership and service through music-based projects. Tri-M empowers students to make a positive impact in their schools and communities, and encourages musical excellence, teamwork, and personal growth. There are more than 2,100 active chapters across the United States, with over 84,000 student members annually dedicating service hours and fundraising for causes they care about.
Key features of Tri-M:

     -Emphasizes leadership, character development, and community service.
     -Recognizes and rewards musical and academic achievement.

Chapters organize performances, outreach initiatives, and service events to inspire a love of music and serve others through music.

Mustang High School Tri-M Chapter

Mustang High School is proud to be home to an official Tri-M Music Honor Society chapter, welcoming outstanding student musicians with a passion for service and leadership. The chapter provides students with opportunities to develop their musical talents while giving back to the Mustang community.
Students involved in the Mustang Tri-M chapter participate in service projects, music outreach events, and leadership activities designed to enhance both their musical experience and their community involvement. Membership in Tri-M is one of the highest honors for a Mustang music student, recognizing both achievement and dedication. The chapter is an important part of the school’s vibrant music culture, supporting and promoting excellence in music education for all students.
